Here are the latest water test results. There had been a lot of rain, so the numbers are likely higher than usual. Still, the ecoli levels are well below 100 which is the safe level for swimming. Remember that zero is needed for drinking.
Note the high levels of coliform below the Trailor Park and lessor, but still high at Elliot Falls.
Phosphorous levels are where they typically are but note we should be looking at these levels from a target value of 0.01 instead of 0.02. Latter is the provincial guideline but professionals suggest the lower number is more appropriate to deter algae growth.
The U-Links testing has also been completed with one surprising finding.
The dissolved oxygen levels in East Moore did not appear to recharge as expected. The levels go to near zero at the bottom. The levels in Moore Lake by contrast was 9.0 mg/l as expected.
