Guided Snowshoe Hikes

Join us on one (or all) of our guided snowshoe hikes being offered this winter to experience the beauty and nature of some our local trails. Snowshoes are available if needed. “Snowshoe Snowdon” Monday January 31 from 1 to 3 PM. This hike will take you through the Snowdon Park Wetland and Forest Preserve, located at 1111 Snowdon Park Road, off Gelert Road in Minden. The park is a gorgeous mix of upland forest and wetlands with 2 loop trails and a connecting link trail. Meet in the parking lot.
“Discover the Dahl” Monday February 14 from 1 to 3 PM. The Dahl Forest is part of the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust Nature Reserves and is located at 1307 Geeza Road, Minden. A beautiful mix of forest and fields that straddles the Burnt River. Meet in the parking lot on Geeza Road.
“Wild Ways of White Water” Monday February 28 from 1 to 3 PM. The Minden White Water Preserve is located at the corners of Horseshoe Lake and Bethel Roads and is a hot spot for canoe and kayaking enthusiasts and offers breathtaking views along the trails.
